CULT OF LUNA Completes Recording New Album
April 1, 2008Swedish art-rock behemoth CULT OF LUNA has finished recording its fifth full-length album at Tonteknik Studios in the band's hometown of Ume. Eight songs were reportedly laid down for the effort, which "will see the band attempt to adapt its sound, welcoming a harsher and more primal element to its already complex approach," according to a press release.

CULT OF LUNA's new album is scheduled for a June release.
CULT OF LUNA was honored with a "P3 Guld" award (for the band's criticially acclaimed "Somewhere along the Highway" release) in January 2007 from Swedish radio station P3 in the "Best Rock/Metal Album of the Year" category.
